Level of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbon (PAH) Contamination in Braised Fish Marketed and Consumed in Eight Communes in the District of Abidjan, Côte D'ivoire

Aims: The objective of this study is to evaluate the exposure consumers polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) and estimate health risk related consumption braised fish from eight (8) communes District Abidjan in order contribute protection these consumers.
 Study Design: This experimental consisted sampling cooked with charcoal embers collective catering circuit, followed by determination PAHs estimation risks.
 Place Duration Study: samples were collected Autonomous analyses performed at Central Laboratory Agrochemistry Ecotoxicology between January March 2015.
 Methodology: extracted purified on a Bond Eut C18 cartridge then determined High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) according ISO 15753.
 Results: All PAH molecules investigated found varying concentrations numbers depending their origin. Concentrations range 0.013 \(\mu\)g/kg 1.246 for individual 0.670 3.271 total (TPAHs) regardless municipality molecule. In addition, 0-25% are non-compliant standard 0-13% TPAHs. Also, Marcory Plateau contain while variable those other communes. Thus, seven (7) four (Abobo, Cocody, Koumassi, Port-Bouet) six (6) two (Treichville, Yopougon). However, all hazard quotients (0.00000-0.00041) less than 1 molecule.
